Mr. Andrew Hand - HS Psychology Teacher

I live in Mount Gilead and am originally from a small town just Northwest of Indianapolis, Indiana. I studied Psychology, Sociology, and Education at Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio. I received my Masters of Arts in Education from The Ohio State University. For the past 8 years I have been teaching all subjects in an alternative classroom for teens with major drug and alcohol issues. I really enjoy working in the drug and alcohol field and Psychology is my favorite subject. I enjoy playing basketball, fishing, snow skiing, hiking, camping, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

My favorite color is orange and I love to eat. I really enjoy working with young people and enjoy teaching a variety of subjects. I am a firm believer in the power and importance of education and I wish everyone the best of luck this year and in the future.
