Delaware, OH (May 9, 2022) – One of the highlights of the year at GOAL Digital Academy’s Delaware Learning Lab is the annual Art Show and Sale. This year, it will take place on Friday May 13th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 248 Washington St. Admission is free for students, families and community partners.
The art show features over 300 pieces of art from all grades, representing roughly 150 students. The gallery is full of prints, original works, 3D-pieces, photography, and music. A variety of activities will accompany the art show, including art workshops, visits from local colleges, music, snacks, a photobooth, and a raffle. All proceeds from the art show benefit the individual students. Unsold artwork or artwork not for sale will be returned to the student or displayed in a GOAL lab.
Tish Jenkins, Superintendent of GOAL Digital Academy, said this event is a fun time for everyone. “The students love the creative process of creating works to place in the art show, and it gives them such pride to have it on display. A well-rounded education includes the arts, and we are happy to foster that at GOAL.”
