Summer Enrichment
GOAL will be offering summer school AND extended learning opportunities this summer from June 9 - July 16, 2025.
Please review the offerings and details below. Use the form under each section to sign up your student by June 5th!

Summer AIM Enrichment Grades K-8 (online):
The Summer AIM program is designed to prevent students from regressing in their reading and math abilities over the summer, while school is not in session. The program uses the online educational platform, iReady, which creates a personalized learning path for each student to help close any educational gaps a student might have as well as extend their knowledge in areas that they are already strong in. Students can earn a $25 gift card for every 25 lessons completed and passed (25 Math and 25 Reading), up to $50. The program is open to all GOAL students in grades K-8 and runs from June 9th to July 16th.
Credit Recovery Summer School (High School): June 9th-July 16th:
The intention of this option is to make up for any credit deficiency a student may have in grades 9-12. We will offer online courses in English, Math, Science, and Social Studies, and a few electives, including Personal Finance, Health, Physical Education, and Careers. Make sure you contact your School Counselor to sign up. If you do not know who your counselor is, please click here to find their contact info!
Grub Club (Grades K-12):
Grub Club Summer Enrichment offers students a hands-on opportunity to explore the art of baking in a fun and supportive environment. Students can join us in the Galion Learning Lab to learn the baking process step-by-step while working alongside staff to create delicious treats. The session includes a breakfast meal, making it a welcoming and engaging way to start the day while building practical life skills.

Phonics for Reading Online (Grades 3-12) June 9th-July 16th::
The Summer Reading Intervention program is to support students in grades 3-12 in continuation of the skill-building they need to become fluent, independent readers. Phonics for Reading provides the depth of explicit instruction, extended practice, teacher feedback, and formative assessments that your child will benefit from. These lessons are split to accommodate your child's needs in a small-group setting and typically take two days to complete.
