GOAL Digital Academy Releases 2024-2025 Annual Report

GOAL Digital Academy is proud to announce the release of its 2024-2025 Annual Report, defined by academic achievement, professional development, and community impact, all driven by GOAL’s mission to ensure that every student is Known, Valued, and Successful. 

The Annual Report recognizes the vital role of GOAL’s Governing Board of Educators, who continue to guide the district with vision and dedication. Their leadership ensures that GOAL remains a leader in online and blended learning across Ohio. 

Staff Growth and Professional Development 

This year, GOAL further expanded its team of educators and support staff to meet the needs of its growing student population. The Annual Report highlights the continued success of the “Grow Our Own” program, which empowers staff with professional development, leadership pathways, and opportunities to contribute to GOAL’s mission at higher levels. 

Department Achievements 

From academic initiatives to new student programming, GOAL’s Leadership Team and their supporting staff members accomplished significant milestones this year. Their work has enhanced curriculum design, expanded student support systems, and strengthened community connections across all Learning Labs. 

Graduation Success 

GOAL celebrated notable milestones in the 2024-2025 academic year with the largest graduating class in GOAL’s history, 157 students! This represents a 7% increase in the graduation rate from the previous year. This achievement underscores GOAL’s commitment to personalized learning pathways and a supportive educational environment that empowers students to reach their full potential. 

Learning Labs, Activities, and Clubs 

GOAL’s seven Learning Labs thrived in 2024-2025 with engaging events and clubs that extended learning beyond the classroom. Popular opportunities in 2024-2025 included the Robotics Club, which provided hands-on engineering, design, and programming concepts, and the Student Service Club, which hosted activities such as the Annual Food Fight, Penny Wars, and CPR Certifications, and the Fine Art Program, which participated in two Art Shows, allowing students across Ohio the chance to showcase their creativity and talent. 

Engaging Live Lessons 

GOAL educators once again set the standard for dynamic online learning. The Annual Report highlights memorable live lessons delivered via Zoom, from interactive science experiments to virtual tours of museums and historical sites, that brought curriculum to life for students statewide. 

The 2024-2025 Annual Report shines a light on students and educators who engage in and provide service to their communities. These inspiring stories highlight the individuality and resilience of GOAL’s learners, each charting their own path to success.
